Here Are Some Of The Most Powerful Responses To That Alabama Abortion Law
By now, I'm sure you're all aware that Alabama has just enacted the most restrictive abortion laws in the United States. Effectively, the ban criminalises abortions in all cases; except for in cases of extreme health risk. This means, that even in cases of rape and incest, the person is forced to carry the fetus to term. Doctors who perform abortions can be sentenced to prison for 99 years. This law has (rightfully) caused outrage around the whole world; with people outraged at this restriction of bodily autonomy, and prioritisation of a fetus over a person.

It is also worth clearly noting that abortion rights are not just women's rights. Non-binary people and trans men can get pregnant too, and as such discussion of abortion should not refer to "women's rights" but "reproductive rights" instead.
Some of the posts regarding this issue blame white men for voting to control reproductive rights; but it was signed by a white woman.
I'm a big believer in people being able to do and believe whatever they like; only insofar as it doesn't impact on anyone else's ability to do the same.
