Dog Cheers Up A Sad Flight Attendant On An Empty Plane By Playing Hide And Seek With Her
No one can or should underestimate the ability dogs have to enrich our lives. No task a dog could do is too small or insignificant to bring a smile to a human's face, dedicated dog lover or not.

All segments of business took a hard blow due to the COVID-19, and airline traffic was literally grinding to a halt. Most of the flights were canceled, and the airplanes that were still flying were half empty.
For one of the employees, flight attendant Jenn Yoo, it was a time of worries. “Everything’s changing not by the day, but more like by the hour,” Yoo says. “I’m just thankful that I even still have a job for now.”
Luckily, once in a while, there were special passengers that brightened her day. “When I see dogs on my flights, it makes my entire day better,” Yoo said.
As a dog lover, that's not unbelievable at all! Dogs are the BEST, and this dog is among the top ten.
Yoo’s airline has altered protocols according to the social distancing recommendations to protect both flight staff and the passengers. Though Yoo is appreciative of the new safety procedures, she misses the old companionship. “The near-empty flights are heartbreaking to me,” Yoo said. “People used to socialize with each other, and now everyone just keeps to themselves.”
“I actually miss pouring passengers a Diet Coke with ice!” she said.
Crew members are not supposed to chat between them or to serve the passengers, so Yoo was overjoyed when she recently got the chance to spend some quality time with a charming dog resting in her very own seat.
“There were only six other people on board, so you know that all my time and attention went to this baby girl,” Yoo says. “Every time I walked up and down the aisle, she would turn her head around to stare at me.”
Before realizing it, she got caught in a game with the cute dog. “At one point she ducked her head behind the seat and popped back out which got me doing the same with her,” Yoo says. “Before I knew it, we were having our own little game of hide-and-seek.”
The dog cheered up Yoo and motivated her to start recording her time in the air with other furry passengers. “Since there are no people passengers I’m attending to, I have more time with the dogs,” Yoo says.
