This Woman Explained R*pe In 11 Explicit Tweets And They Couldn't Be More Valid

by Stephanie

Rape is a severe matter. It is one of the most horrific acts a person can inflict on another. It's a complete attack on someone's self-worth and humanity, and it strips them of every ounce of dignity.

Rape is an unforgivable offense, and it is never, EVER, the victim's fault. And yet, somehow, rape seems to be a difficult concept for some people to grasp. Twitter user @clvrarose has posted a series of tweets on the topic, which have since gone viral. The tweets were in response to the notion that a rape victim could somehow be "asking for it."

The thing is, rape is rape, and no one is ever asking for it, which is the exact point the Twitter user made clear with her explicit posts.

The woman made the point that a woman's body will try to lubricate itself when penetrated, which does NOT automatically mean she is enjoying it!

Seriously though, she's right. It's really not a hard concept.

So true, and entirely valid. Many victims blame themselves after an attack because their bodies unwillingly had an orgasm during the rape.

In the end, she gives people who disagree an ultimatum. Accept the facts, or leave!
