Woman Shares Heartbreaking Last Conversation With Her Friend Before He Took His Own Life
Mental health is one of those issues that are often overlooked because most of the time, it might not be as obvious or noticeable in a person compared to if they had issues with their physical health. Anyone could be diagnosed with illnesses like depression and anxiety, but it's not always easy to tell.

One Twitter user had a final conversation with her friend Shawn before he took his own life; Shawn stated that he was in a low place and needed a friend. Although plans were arranged for the two to meet up later, it was too late by the time she arrived at his house.
If you happen to have someone in your life struggling to cope with the many problems life throws at us, please take the time to say hello or show them you care. The smallest actions and acts of kindness can help, and without love and support the world would be a much bleaker place.
Shawn asked her about her plans for the evening after work.
She replied, and he told her that he was in a low place and in need of a friend.
I appreciate that she offered her support despite him brushing it off as nothing, because sometimes insisting on keeping someone company can help and shows that you care for them.
Plans were arranged.
He sent her his address, and for a while it must've seemed like she would come over it would be a normal day and meeting.
It's cruel and terrifying how fast you can lose someone to whatever problems they're facing. My condolences to Shawn's family and friends; no one deserves to go through enough pain to make them take their own life.
If you happen to be considering suicide as an escape route of some sort, I'd like to tell you that suicide should never be an option and that, as cliché as it sounds, things will get better. No matter how hopeless things seem, I urge you to persevere and focus on the things that matter most to you. I may just be another person on the internet, I'd like to tell you that nothing is worth hurting yourself over and that there will always be people who care about you.
