Pizza Delivery Driver Forced To Quit Job After Calling Out A Religious Woman About Her Lack of Tolerance
Religious people often talk about living according to their faith but don't always practice what they preach. Many religious people claim to be living according to the teachings of their religion, but their actions don't always reflect this.

Sometimes people are simply unaware of how their actions contradict their faith. Other times, they may be aware but choose to ignore the teachings of their faith for their own selfish desires.
And the weirdest thing is -they get furious when they get called out for it, just like in today's story.
OP is not religious but does not care if others are as long as they do not shove it down people's throats. On a typical morning, OP was working as the only delivery driver at a pizza chain.
Suddenly, a lady phoned the store and ordered a ton of food for the local hospital. After finishing up with the hospital, OP picked up the church lady's order, which she had called multiple times about.
Upon delivery, the church lady yelled at OP that the order was forty-five minutes late and that she had starving children to feed. OP remained silent, and the church lady asked if OP did not talk much. OP replied with, "Have a good day, mam," and muttered, "Very christ-like of you" under their breath.
After returning to the store, the church lady called, raging about how OP had "mocked" her faith. Despite the manager's opinion, OP asked if being cussed out deserved an apology and a smile.
The manager nearly fired OP, and as OP was running overtime this week, they waited until their shift ended to quit.

OP has offered the following explanation for why they think they might be the a-hole:
"She called your workplace to complain about your behavior? Call her church to complain about hers. "
Be petty
OP is not one of the "good people."
She mocked her own religion
Nothing stings quite as much...
In today's world, it's more important than ever to be tolerant of each other's differences. We must recognize that people come from different backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs and shouldn't be judged based on these factors.
We need to be open to other perspectives and opinions and accept that there is more than one way to look at any situation. We need to stop making assumptions about people and instead work together to find common ground.
Tolerance also means being understanding and respectful of people's differences and allowing them to live as they choose. We must strive to create an environment of acceptance and understanding where everyone is free to express themselves without fear of retribution or judgment.
We must learn to disagree without being disagreeable and to treat each other with respect and dignity. Finally, we must be willing to accept that we may not understand or agree with someone's lifestyle, but that doesn't give us the right to condemn or criticize them for it.
We must remember that despite our differences, we are all human and deserve to be treated with kindness and compassion. Only then can we truly create a more tolerant and accepting world.
