20 Parents Reveal Parenting 'Trends' They Strongly Disagree With And Think Are Absolute Trash
We have a problem, people. I understand the meaning of being woke and stuff, but there's a line we need to draw somewhere, you know?

It's okay to walk with modern times and play catch up, but that doesn't mean we embrace every little trend that hits us in the face. Some trends just aren't for us.
I see you rolling your eyes, but wait, let me prove my point.
In the middle ages, children used to drink beer with their parents for breakfast! Sure, beer is low in alcohol and stuff, but that was a trend you wouldn't want to follow, would you?
There was a reason why children drank beer back then. It's because of the extremely poor quality of drinking water and the scarcity of quality drinking water.
But today that's not the case, so thankfully children don't drink beer, but that doesn't mean it wasn't a trend back then!
I'd hate to offend anyone, and trust me, that's not my intention, but just because someone's a parent, doesn't mean they can get away with forcing their children down the trend's throat.
I think we've all got to use our common sense, especially when it comes to following or making trends. Nevertheless, here are some parents who think certain trends are absolute trash.
1. Exactly, some kids wear adult-like clothes, and they're on social media.
2. Knocking will help kids learn to respect your privacy too.
3. Yes, it's cringy, unfair, rude, and totally unacceptable.
4. Oh it's common here too. Some parents are too busy not looking after their kids.
5. Neither do I.
6. Yeah, what's with this? It's supposed to be a private affair, IMO.
7. This is gold.
8. Yes, in the future, your child will have no private life.
9. And girls mature faster than boys... that needs to go too.
10. Exactly, and thank you.
11. I've known people who got their ears pierced the second they were born.
12. Unless you live in an unsafe area, this truly is invasion of privacy.
13. Exactly.
14. Those places are for adults only, and there's a reason for that. Let it remain adult-only.
15. Yep.
16. There's nothing wrong with little kids using code name, but as they grow things need to change.
17. This made me laugh, but it's on point.
18. Being bored isn't a bad thing, y'all.
19. LOL. Behave little one, that little purse is worth hundreds.
20. This is morally wrong.
In Summary...
I'm sure most, if not all, of you agree that these trends are absolute trash. There's no reason to follow a trend only to go viral online.
Parents must remember that a few years later those videos will still be online and, if it's a humiliating video, it'll continue to shatter their kid's confidence.
The internet is unforgiving and unforgettable, and the last thing any parent wants is for their kid's information and videos to go viral. It's not fair for your kid.
Let's remember, whether your kids are babies, toddlers, or young adults, everyone deserves privacy. Set your boundaries and teach your kids how to set theirs.
Help them live a purposeful life by being the example.
