Photographer Takes Pictures Of 37 Redheads On His Travels Around The World To Show The Incredible Beauty Of Red Hair
Brian Dowling, an American photographer, who lives in the German capital – Berlin, broke the prejudices with his photographs and showed us that red-haired girls don‘t live only in Scotland and Ireland. His project “Redhead Beauty” includes 20 different countries and more than 130 true redheads.

Red hair color is one of the least common hair colors in the world. This hair color is actually caused by a mutation in one gene. This gene is known as MC1R, and in addition to affecting hair color, it can also have an effect person’s tolerance to pain or sunlight.
It took the artist three summers to complete this project. His goal was to influence the stereotypical opinions that people have about redheads.
