Many people know this brilliant artist as his work has floated around the internet for years but this series of images are truly brilliant.
Yehuda and Maya released illustrations in 2018 as they were trying to fall pregnant. These images gave a comical yet real look into what they were going through. This process took a toll on both of them.
“The hardest parts were at the end of each month when Maya used to have her period,” said the artist. “Continuously dealing with lack of success makes you feel as if you aren’t in control of your life. It’s a terrible feeling.”
The couple credit getting through this to their strong connection.
“We’ve been together for such a long time that our friendship and love seem so strong, it feels like we can achieve everything if we work together. Challenges make us stronger,” said Yehuda.
The couples illustrations have gained popularity due to their funny yet realistic take on day to day events. this combination has resonated well with viewers.
“Viewers see their life through “One of those days” and feel that they are not alone… There are other people somewhere in the world who are just like them, who experience ups and downs in their relationships [as well] and it gives [them] a sense of relevance.”
The couple first met in the military and after a lengthy friendship they decided to begin a relationship.
“Our comic series “One of those days” is based on real-life moments that happened to us and was about creating fun memories by illustration.”
While Yehuda is given credit as the main artist, Maya is also an artist. She helps with composition and initial concepts.
“After that, I sit down and start working. When I finish, Maya adds her suggestions for improvement, suggesting color, typography and so on. All of this process takes no more than a day.”
“I wanted to say a huge thanks to all our followers and the love we get. Thanks to you we can continue to create “One of those days” and make the world a happier place!”
It is a great insight into how much work goes into each one.
