Woman Faces Off With Entitled Guests For Refusing To Give Up Her Larger Room For Their Comfort

Dealing with entitled individuals can leave us feeling frustrated and disregarded. In such situations, it becomes imperative to assert ourselves firmly and uphold our boundaries to maintain self-respect.

This was the case for our narrator (Original Poster), who returned to her parent’s house and found herself in the midst of an unexpected family drama. 

OP explained that her cousin's family had come to stay at the house because her dad was sick. While they made use of the guest room, OP was cuddled up with her toddler in her cozy bedroom.

Apparently, the guest room was furnished with a double bed, while OP's room had a king-sized bed. The thought of this made OP's cousin uncomfortable, as she didn't see the reason why her family was getting the smaller space even when they had more occupants.

It didn't take long for OP's cousin to confront her and demand that they switch rooms. Her argument was that a king-sized bed was too much space for OP and her toddler, rather, she and her husband should have it because two adults deserve a bigger bed.

OP firmly refused this suggestion, as she didn't see the need to give up her personal room in her own home. What came next was a loud argument that ended up waking the kids and disturbing everyone in the house.
