"Real-life Barbie," Andrea Ivanova from Bulgaria, has undergone 20 injections in her lips in an attempt to get the biggest in the world. The 22-year-old began her transformation in 2018.

Since then, she has spent thousands on lip-plumping procedures. So much so, that by December 2018, her mouth had already quadrupled in size. But Andrea still wasn't satisfied, and she went on to have even more injections.

Andrea underwent her 20th hyaluronic acid lip injection on April 28. She's not sure if they're the world's biggest, but she says she really loves her new lips. "I like my new lips a lot, it was hard to eat after the injection and two to three days after the procedure gets more difficult. There are no restrictions to what I can eat," Andrea said.

"I love my lips. I am not sure if they are the biggest lips in the world but they are one of the biggest, I think."

Doctors have advised Andrea not to get any further fillers; however, she is determined to make her lips even bigger.

Andrea says her lips are "lovely," and she will "stop at nothing" to achieve her desired results.

"I feel great to have even more but some doctors think it’s enough. My doctor said he will do more injections for me but said I have to wait for at least two months," Andrea says.

Andrea admits she has lost count of how much money she has spent on lip injections over the years. But doing the math, it's likely she has spent upwards of $3,200 on her evolving look.

She has documented her transformation on Instagram, where she shares her journey with her 32,100 followers.

Andrea's fans love her look, with one commenting, "Bigger is better." And another saying," I love Andreas [sic] perfect big lips."

While Andrea does receive her fair share of criticism for her chosen look, she says it doesn't matter what others think as long as she likes it.

"I'm broad-minded, and I think people should be free to choose which one is for them – big, bigger, or too big," Andrea says.
