Woman Gets Into Heated Argument With BIL After He Commented Her Dress
Sometimes family doesn't always get along and it's spats like this that help you see who they truly are.

We're back here again with another Reddit post from the AITA thread that we all love so much. You all have probably seen these posts before, and we love covering them because of the fun and interesting stories, plus all of the helpful comments that get submitted in response.
This thread is a great place to get unbiased opinions on things going on in their life. Sometimes it's best to just get opinions from strangers instead of asking the family what you should do, especially if they are involved or possibly biased in any way.
So, in this case, we are looking at a post that was submitted by a woman who told off her BIL because of comments that he made about her dress and her and her husband's dynamic. After hearing the things that he said, we really don't blame her for acting out because we're sure we would've said the same.
If you're interested in seeing what happened and hearing how she responded to his ridiculous remarks, then stay tuned because we're going to show you the full original post. Without further ado, let's dive in and see the full post, plus all of the best comments on it as well.
OP's post was short and to the point as she describes a situation that happened between her and her BIL. The biggest issue is that her husband is md at them for acting like this.

People immediately came to the comments to let her know that she's NTA for reacting and responding to his remarks like that. She's standing up for herself and every other woman.

BIL did provoke it and he's probably just not used to people responding the way that she did to him, which probably caught him off guard.

This comment is gold because it says mostly what we are all thinking about BIL since he is acting like a misogynist.

Many people even said that they loved OP's response and would have responded in a similar manor. You can't deny that she had a reason to respond back to him this way.

Defending yourself can happen at any time and any place. If he's talking like that in public then she should be able to respond to him in public like that too.

Maybe the situation should've waited until they were behind closed doors, but honestly nobody blames OP for saying all this in public.

Standing up for yourself is important and maybe they're right, her husband should learn how to do this a little bit more.

Her husband probably isn't trying to address his brother's behavior but this is a pretty big problem too because if he's not stopping it then he's encouraging it.

Ultimately, everyone agrees she's NTA and the hubby needs to set boundaries.

We're sad that OP had to deal with this but we are seriously proud of her for responding the way that she did because many people maybe wouldn't have had the same confidence to. Her husband definitely needs to set boundaries and learn to stick up for his wife a little bit more though.
