Bindi Irwin now 19 years old is proving the saying "like father, like daughter" by following directly in his footsteps. She has shown the world that she has the same connection and charm to animals like her father Steve Irwin did.

Bindi and her brother Robert have appeared in the spotlight of the cameras since they were little babies. They appeared many times on her father's famous show "The Crocodile Hunter".

One commercial we all remember is when Steve put baby Bindi on the back of a crocodile and said, "You’re watching Animal Planet with the Crocodile Hunter, and family!" Since then she has hosted TV shows, started acting and even won a season of Dancing With The Stars.

We all watched her grow up in her father's lap on top of a crocodile to the amazing and beautiful women that she is now. A true love and passion for wildlife have been running in her veins since she was a little girl and besides that, she has the excitement and enthusiasm for conservation just like her dad.

The Australian Zoo was founded and have been run by the Irwin family since 1970 and Bindi and her family is still working and living there to this day. "I have spent my entire life living in a zoo, which is pretty crazy. Not many kids get to say that," she said. "It took me until I was about three years old to realize that we didn’t just come to the zoo every day, that we actually lived here."

Along with her brother and her mother, Bindi is making sure that her father's legacy will never be forgotten and that it keeps on going. Steve has been a hero to us all for many years and he will never be forgotten for all the great work that he did. "We want to make sure that his message of wildlife and conservation continues," she said. "Because he was the world’s greatest conservationist and we never want that message to die."

Have a look below at what Bindi is up to today and how she is making her mark in the world.
