Redditor Rescues An Injured Bird And Brings It To Their Office, Then It Starts Flying Wildly And Dropping All Over
Injuries and illnesses can occur in adult songbirds for a variety of reasons. Birds commonly get injured after getting into contact with house cats, window strikes, getting hit by cars, viral and bacterial illnesses, and many more.
Upon finding an injured bird, you need to carefully place it inside a cardboard box with something covering it from the top and move it to a safer, cooler place. Birds often die quite easily from shock.
The bird might need some time to recover from hitting a window and can be able to fly away soon after. Forcibly feeding the bird or giving it water is not something you should do.
A Redditor who goes by the username u/isison made a post on the r/tifu subReddit where they explained how they found themselves in a pretty weird situation after trying to save an injured bird. The user attempted to help the bird and moved it inside his office, then it suddenly regained life and started flying wildly around the room and pooping.

Props to Op for helping that bird and ensuring it was once again able to fly around freely. The incident that happened right after is something we can all relate to; there's nothing worse than having to usher a bird outside. It just never works.
