There's a line you don't cross when it comes to online bargaining and this guy overstepped that boundary.

Man Shares Screenshots Of A Dude That He Never Met Begging For Free Things

There aren’t many people in this world so disliked as choosing beggars are. (Of course not counting criminals and horrible people.) They are capable of haggling till the end of the world, ask for free stuff, and basically step over every possible line of decent behavior.

This post from r/ChoosingBeggars is one example of what they are willing to do. There are several screenshots of two message exchanges that took place three years apart.

The first one was about a Kinect that was for sale, and the Choosing Beggar tried to get the price much lower than the item is worth. That isn't really uncommon but to have them contact you again after three years, asking for free things? That's just not cool.

Then, three years later, out of nowhere, the CB messages and ask, “Do you have AAA?” Understandably, the OP replies with, “Do I know you?”

They started discussing should the OP request a tow truck for the CB, despite the fact they’ve never met and reside in different states, so it is against AAA rules for the OP to call a truck in the first place. But, the CB doesn’t give up and keeps asking for the OP to find a solution to his problem.

This bring up so many questions. One of them is if this person has any shame at all.

He also claims that he is a lawyer who can’t afford a tow truck as he’s only paid once a week. That looks like a seriously bad problem of financial management

"Tell me what to look up," the CB requests. "Start by doing a Google search on 'why am I such a needy dumbass,'" the OP replies. But it looks like they are both amused, so there is some self-awareness.
