There are good days and bad days for everyone, but the most essential thing is to make the most of each day, good or bad. After all, we only have one life to experience in the end.

There are many reasons why someone might choose to have no children. Some people hold the political view that it is morally right to abstain from having children because of resource limitations and population growth.

Others are motivated by a need for greater mental and bodily freedom than a parent may provide. And then there are those who merely lack interest in assuming the long-term caregiving responsibilities that parenthood entails.

The OP in today's story makes it no secret that she's childfree, sterilized, and doesn't particularly like kids, and especially not babies. The OP's friend Jenny took her to go see her cousin Amy.

Amy has two babies and a third is on the way, and Jenny was just playing with them while the OP just said hi to them. In fact, the OP spent most of her time there talking to Amy and the other adults and petting their dogs and cats.
