Some Restaurants Are Charging 'COVID Taxes' After Re-Opening And People Aren't Okay With It
It's safe to say that we have all been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in many ways. After all, it's not just our health that has been affected, it's our jobs, and our day-to-day routines as well.

Many of the places we were used to visiting regularly were forced to close temporarily, and most of us have had to stay at home. However, the time has come for some places, such as some restaurants and cafes, to begin re-opening their doors to customers in small numbers.
It seems that in a bid to salvage some of the money lost during the coronavirus crisis, some of these businesses have decided to implement a small extra charge upon their customers. A 'COVID-19 Surcharge.'
While some customers understand the reasoning behind the charge and have decided to cop it on the chin, some are furious and not taking the decision lightly.
While some restaurants and cafes were able to keep operating during the lockdown by offering delivery and pickup, some didn't have such options and had to close their doors to customers entirely.
Some restaurants even had to let go of some, or all, of their staff to keep their businesses afloat during this time.
