James May Proves Cybertruck Isn't All Straight Edges And Flat Surfaces After Doing A Full Review

by Daphnie

Grand Tour host James May put the Cybertruck to the test and you might be surprised at what he found. The Cybertruck has been a controversial vehicle from Elon Musk that has received a lot of comments both on the way it looks and the way it performs.

The truck ultimately made people quite interested to see what kind of features it had and how it would be different from any other car on the road currently. Elon Musk has a knack for creating some really interesting products and this vehicle is one of them.

There's truly no better person to review and give us a deep dive into the Cybertruck than James May and he gave us exactly what we are looking for. There have already been a lot of different reviews of the cybertruck but now it's time to take a look at what someone has to say about it who is already very familiar with cars and vehicles.

If you're interested in seeing what James May had to say about the Cybertruck and its controversial aluminum body kit then you'll want to stay tuned because we're going to take a look into everything he had to say.

James May is the number one person we want to hear from when it comes to reviewing the Cybertruck.

James May went to California to experience the Cybertruck in person. A lot of his review focused mainly on the design of the Cybertruck and its uniqueness rather than the mechanical or construction components of the vehicle.

When looking at it, he actually compared this vehicle to a Lamborghini Countach or the DMC DeLorean. May looked more at its exterior design as this is what has sparked much of the debate over the truck.

May did the review justice by bringing in all the tools to give us a real review.

The entire body of the vehicle is made with stainless steel panels and it appears to not have any curves on it at all. Although this is somewhat true as it has flat surfaces and sharp lines, May did discover that areas like the hood or the front doors are slightly convex.

The rear doors, on the other hand, are pretty flat, and May actually said that Tesla's engineers most likely did this intentionally as they knew the angles and flat surfaces would look weird.

He even tested it with his own brand of Gin on the top of the car.

In his review, he concluded that he does actually like the Cybertruck, but that he wouldn't get one himself. This isn't surprising because he doesn't usually like truck-style vehicles.

He also concluded his thoughts by saying that he'd like to see another Tesla vehicle that's a bit smaller than the Model Y, but with characteristics of the Cybertruck.

Here is where you can see James May's whole review and thoughts on the Cybertruck.

The Cybertruck has gained a lot of controversy over the design and just the uniqueness of this vehicle compared to anything else on the market right now. It's interesting to hear his thoughts on the truck and what he would change and what he thinks about the unique body style of it considering this is the main thing people are focused on with this truck.
