Almost everyone has been stuck in quarantine at some point over the past year. It's been pretty crazy, and being stuck at home has certainly had its benefits and downfalls.
A lot of us have spent the time bettering ourselves, whether it be by learning new things, getting some much-needed rest, or taking up new hobbies. But, have you ever wondered how some of your favorite Disney characters have been spending their time in lockdown?
Well, Italian artists, Lorenza Di Sepio and Marco Barretta have. And they have the illustrations to prove it!
The talented duo, known on social media as 'Simple&Madama,' have put together a 15-part series illustrating the things our favorite Disney princesses have been getting up to in quarantine. From Rapunzel to Merida to Princess Leia, the pair have them and their quarantine-antics covered.
"We are two Italian cartoonists. Marco Barretta and I started this project in 2012," Lorenza says. "He was born on the web, but today in Italy he has 9 publications and several issues of a magazine."
"The idea of the princesses was born with the coining of COVID-19. We imagined what the Disney princesses could be doing in quarantine!" she explained.
"In all, we made 15 images, all in live streaming to keep us company with the fans!" Scroll down to see what the Disney princesses have been up to!
