They were married for five years and together for a decade. OP's initial complaints about her ex were all related to his mother.
She belittled OP and humiliated her at every turn. OP is of Hispanic heritage, so MIL was casually racist to her as well.
OP tolerated everything her MIL said and did to her, all for the love of her husband. She did not want him to get caught in the middle of their animosity.
She did tell him everything his mother did. OP's husband dismissed her complaints because his mom was just a "loving and overprotective" mother.
He just shook his head, as if amused, whenever his mom accused OP of being a gold-digger. OP actually made more money than him, but he never informed his mother of that fact.
OP finally had enough when her daughter's life was endangered by her MIL's recklessness. OP's daughter has an irritable colon, which makes certain foods and substances dangerous to her.
Her MIL fed her 3-year-old daughter some essential oils to help her fall asleep. OP's daughter ended up in the ICU.
OP confronted her husband about his mother's actions. All he could say was that his mom only did what she thought was best.
OP left her husband, went to her parent's house, and had a lawyer draft a divorce agreement
OP's husband couldn't believe his eyes when OP served him the papers. He truly believed their marriage was a happy one.
Meanwhile, his mom busied herself trying to make OP look like an unfit parent.
Her labors proved futile when OP was granted full custody. Her ex-husband was allowed to visit their daughter. Her ex said his mom only accused OP of those heinous things because she broke his heart and his mom had to do what was best for him.
Things settled down when OP's former brother-in-law married an African-American woman. OP also started dating again.
Her BIL made OP's ex-husband see how terribly he and their mom have been treating OP. So, OP's ex got it in his head that he can win OP back.
His initial attempt to woo OP with flowers and chocolates failed. He resorted to begging and crying in front of her house while threatening to beat up her boyfriend to change her heart.
When that didn't work either, he tried to turn their daughter against OP
OP got a helpful advice from Reddit. Her lawyer thinks they have a case against her ex-husband for trying to alienate their daughter from OP. A social worker was also scheduled to visit them to check on OP's daughter.
OP clarified that she did all she could to make her ex-husband see reason. She has no plans of getting back with him. It would only hurt their daughter further.

Her former MIL is not allowed to be alone with OP's daughter during their visits. OP should take pride in getting out of that marriage when she did and for protecting herself and their daughter from their unfortunate relatives.
