Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick has proposed to his girlfriend of two years, actress and model Amy Jackson. The pair were on a romantic ski trip in Switzerland when Ed got down on one knee and popped the question.
The couple announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post, with Amy captioning it, "Hell YES 💍." Ed also shared his excitement via an Instagram story writing, "I hit the jackpot xxx."
Westwick is without a doubt best known for his role as the obnoxious Chuck Bass in Gossip Girl. We loved him, hated him, and loved to hate him in the drama-filled series about Manhattan's elite.
Jackson is recognized for her recurring role as Imra Ardeen in Supergirl, as well as her work in numerous Bollywood films. The pair began dating in 2021 after meeting at an Aston Martin race day, and they made their relationship Instagram official in June of 2022.
"I saw her and thought, ‘I’m going to make my move!’" Ed recalled. "We chatted for a bit, and I asked her if she wanted to meet me for a coffee."
The pair have been smitten with each other ever since. Ed noted that Amy has been "making his heart race from day one."
While Amy already shares a four-year-old son with her ex, George Panayiotou, the newly engaged couple says that kids are "100 percent" on the cards for them in the future.
