Well, it is if you have a date. Some kids, for different reasons, don't have dates for the prom.
And others want someone special to be their date and wouldn't settle for anything less. Well, that's where celebs come in.
Famous singers, actresses, models, and athletes answered "yes" to promposals from their fans, and the photos are so cute you'll be envious. These teenagers' smiles are wonderful, reminding us that everything is possible if you only ask for it.

Just half (51%) went with a date among those who did. So, basically, this means that only 24% of Americans had the "typical" experience of attending prom with their high school sweetheart.
