This thread is so entertaining and we've looked at posts from here before because of just how funny and interesting they an be. So with this being said, we are looking at a post that was submitted by someone who wants to know if he's wrong for taking a drink someone bought him, even though the guy thought he was a girl.
Now this isn't something that we hear every day and the situation was just too funny and awkward, but we really think the guy reacted this way because he was probably embarrassed. It's pretty funny and honestly, I think most of us would have just taken the drink as well.
If you're interested in seeing the full post and checking out some of the best comments that were left on the post as well then keep on reading as we dive in and give you all of the details.
OP started off his post with explaining that he is not someone that necessarily dresses like a girl bit that he does have longer hair.
He goes on more to help explain a bit of how he looks and what may have thrown off this guy.
This is when he gets into the bulk of the story and what exactly happened here at the bar.
This is just too funny and we are sure that the guy is just probably embarrassed that this happened to him.
I think it's so ridiculous that he even asked him to pay it back because if the woman had rejected him then he'd be in the same boat essentially.
We are glad that the bartender is on OP's side and didn't ask him to pay because it's his fault he bought someone a random drink.
His reaction is definitely what I think set most of us off because he didn't have to be rude about his own mistake.
OP replied to the comment above and gave us a little insight into what he's dealt with in the past.
People really did say that OP was NTA here and we have to agree because he did nothing wrong here.
This is definitely what I was getting at because the woman could have denied him as well.
People said that OP was NTA here and we agree because it really isn't his fault. Also, if someone buys you a drink, you drink it.
At bars, this could have gone the same way if it was a woman because she wouldn't have owned him anything just because he bought her a drink.
