Immigration is anything new. It's been happening since the beginning of time, and even more so in recent years with easier accessibility across continents. In the US and England, we may have been seeing a fall in terms of immigration peaks, but in Canada (where it is quite a lot nicer, if I do say so myself), we're finding that immigrants are more openly welcomed into the country.
The Canadian prime minister tweeted out two years ago “To those fleeing persecution, terror & war, Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith. Diversity is our strength #WelcomeToCanada.”
Not to be political or anything but this seems like such a better welcome than threats of a wall and removing children from their families.
Nav Bhatia, an immigrant to Toronto, Canada has gotten quite a lot of attention online recently, and it's not hard to see why.
There are over 200 diverse ethnic groups in the region alone.
