People Of The Internet Tear PETA To Shreds For Disrespecting Steve Irwin.
PETA went too far and the internet CAME AFTER them!

Unless you've been living under a rock for the last 20 years (or you were born after the year 2000) you would, without question, be familiar with Steve 'The Crocodile Hunter' Irwin.
While his name (also given to his TV show) sounds a little hard core, Irwin was in fact a wildlife warrior and worked largely towards education and promoting the longevity and preservation of Australian wildlife He died tragically in 2006, on Batt Reef (off the coast of Queensland, Australia) after a stingray barb punctured his heart. He left behind his wife, American born Terri Irwin, and two children, Bindi and Robert, aka Bob.
His family continue operate his legacy, Australia Zoo, a place that educates and entertains with a major focus on Australiana. This week, Google decided to honour Steve Irwin for what would have been his 57th Birthday, with the creation of a 'Google Doodle', the art-work you seen on the Google homepage. It was then that PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) came at Google and Steve Irwin with a vicious tweet. The internet came swiftly to Irwin's defence.
Google's Doodle:
PETA's response:

Well, the Irwin family still has a lot of supporters and Steve's legacy lives on. When the internet got wind of PETA's harsh words, they came at the organisation, highlighting the fact that PETA, despite their warm fuzzy reputation, still euthanise a lot of the animals that it takes into care (despite being a highly population organisation for donations). In the last 5 years, PETA had euthanising stats at around 80% in some states! And they had the audacity to come after Steve! Twitter users were quick to point this out!
Here comes the internet:
Brave words!
True!
The world came together to defend Steve!
boom!
Amen to this!!!
