Jason Momoa Gives Chris Pratt A Piece Of His Mind In This "Disposable Water Bottle" Drama

Jason Momoa—the actor famous for playing Aquaman, Ronon Dex, and Khal Drogo— made a bold move by calling out fellow actor and fellow buff dude Chris Pratt on Instagram in front of the world. But why did he do it?

Aren't they friends? Well, it was maybe a publicity stunt.

And is there a better way to attract attention than a feud between two celebs? Momoa is passionate about environmental issues, as evidenced by his Aquaman character.

But what is the problem here? Pratt was just at the gym and needed to hydrate. However, the truth is that single-use plastic bottles are one of the most common items found in the ocean, and they are rarely recycled, even though recycling them doesn't stop the issue.

The Daily Dot reported that by 2050, the amount of plastic in the sea will outweigh the fish and that there are currently 15-51 trillion pieces of plastic in the world's oceans. This plastic is literally killing our planet.

So, what happened: Momoa responded to Chris Pratt's post about teaming up with Amazon to show his followers the products he uses for his workouts, keeping active and all that fun stuff to get them prepped, writing, "Bro I love u, but wtf on the water bottle. No single-use plastic. Come on."

In Chris Pratt's new post about "teaming up with @amazon to show his followers the items he uses for his workouts, staying active, and all that fun stuff to get ready for 2020", he appears to be very relaxed, holding a single-use plastic water bottle.

Pratt apologized for his post, which was a bit embarrassing since it was a sponsored content post advertising Amazon.

Pratt wrote in response, “Aquaman! You’re completely right. Dammit. I always carry my big gallon size reusable water jug with me too. I even had it that day!!!” “Love you too buddy.” Then he went on to say, “My bad. I don’t want your home of Atlantis covered in plastic. Hear that kids? Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.”

This then prompted Momoa to apologize for shaming Pratt.

He wrote, ‘BRO you know my children and I are madly in love with you, and I love everything you do. I’m sorry this was received so badly today I didn’t mean for that to happen.

I’m just very passionate about this single-use plastic epidemic. The plastic water bottles have to stop i hope u make a reusable water bottle for amazon so we all can purchase it

. You’re an inspiration to many I’m one of them. I’ll send you a case of MANANALU.”

If you were wondering, this was also a product placement moment - Momoa's canned water line, Mananalu, was featured. Ultimately, the message is clear: Stop using single-use plastic water bottles and use every opportunity to make money.

Was it all a publicity stunt or a misunderstanding? We will let you decide.

It is certain that there was no bad intention here. They are both nice guys who stay far away from scandals.
