We all need some cheering up, and what could be better than a heartwarming story that proves that social distancing didn’t turn people into complete strangers but brought us even closer. This is a fairytale but from the real world.
It’s taking place in LA, California, and it revolves around a 4-year-old girl who was lonely during the quarantine. She has created a wonderful fairy garden under a tree. It didn’t go unnoticed by photographer Kelly Victoria.
She found a little note about a little girl who was lonely in the quarantine and “wanted to spread some cheer,” and she replied to it in the best possible way. She shared their amazing adventure on Twitter, and more than 390K people who saw it are absolutely grateful for that.
“What a beautiful story,” one tweet said. “Given our current universal tragedy, your personal struggles, and that little girl’s struggles with the pandemic, it is an uplifting tale.”
Soon, the wonderful thread about a fairy called Sapphire spread to other social media platforms, including Imgur. “This child will remember this forever,” someone said. “And one day she will realize it was a human who did this for her and will be both sad and grateful.”
