A Twitter account called Conservative Self-Owns is dedicated to these kinds of statements. It’s focused on ridiculing homophobic, racist, and other hateful or narrow-minded comments that backfired on their authors, and it has already earned almost 270k followers.
We have chosen 30 of the best self-sabotaging statements and know you will find them priceless. They just go to show a mindset of an average homophobic, racist, and hatred-motivated person.
What’s worrying is the fact that those people are getting louder over time. The less people know about a particular subject, the louder they will be in defending their views about it.
An intelligent and educated person is aware of the fact that he doesn’t know everything and that there is a lot to be discovered. A less intelligent person thinks that reading an online biased blog about something somewhere just made him an expert.
Has the number of people with limited cognitive abilities grown, or do their posts simply get more attention because of their ridiculousness? We can’t say.
