TikToker Goes Viral After Noticing "Plain Burger" Mess Up On Kiosk That Just Simply Doesn't Make Sense
McDonald's is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, chain restaurants in the entire world, and they offer so many things, from burgers, fries, chicken meals, and even other crazy options in other countries. With this being said, they also have a lot of modifications that you can do to their meals, like changing what you don't want or substitutions.
Sometimes, especially with the ability of mobile ordering or ordering at a kiosk, there can be some confusing modifications that are able to be done. Mostly, this is coming from those that have noticed some odd suggestions.
One thing that you can get is a "plain" burger, but essentially this means nothing on it except the bread and patty, right? Well, wrong when you order a plain cheeseburger.
This is exactly what this TikToker noticed when they were able to order a plain cheeseburger and then explained that it just didn't really make sense. Plus, it can be confusing if some people put cheese and others don't put the cheese.
Let's take a look at the original TikTok video and see what other people had to say about this person's discovery when seeing their kiosk order that just didn't really make a lot of sense.
A Tiktoker went viral after realizing how some of these McDonald's substitutions just don't make any sense.

TikToker @izizzygotu3 noticed a weird substitution when ordering at a McDonald's kiosk.
He goes through how to place the order using the kiosk in order to show the viewers exactly what a weird substitution there is. He says, "You guys want to know the dumbest sh**?"
He continues to "make it plain" which then removes all of the toppings like ketchup, pickles, and everything else including the cheese.
Then he continues to read on after he puts the double cheeseburger plain on the menu. Then he continues reading, "Double cheeseburger. No American cheese."
So ultimately his issue is that it should still come with the cheese since it is a "cheeseburger."
The video has a caption that says "It's not a double cheeseburger without the f*ckin cheese!!"

Watch the video here:
His big issue is that it's not a "double cheeseburger" without the cheese.
It seems that he's discovered that this can be quite confusing to customers who are looking to keep the cheese on their cheeseburger but take away all the other toppings, making it "plain."

This is where people were a little conflicted in the comments. It seems like a lot of people wondered why he even made the video at all.

Someone then stated how people who ordered it without the kiosk would've received the burger with the cheese on it.

Then one commenter came out to say that there's an option to get just cheese and this might help their issue.

I think a lot of us would say that this isn't exactly something to make a whole video on, but we do understand how it could be confusing. Ultimately making sure with the cashier might be best, or just specifying to add the cheese back could work too.
Regardless, it's not really worth being upset over.
