Mom Made Her Son Do Push-Ups In A Public Bathroom As A Form Of Punishment For Misbehaving, And The Internet Says "Well Done"
Parenting isn’t easy, and it gets more difficult as kids get older. Changing diapers and teaching a baby to walk is a lot easier than teaching them about proper behavior and the real world out there.

Many kids act out in public, and it’s never pleasant to watch that. The poor parents are bewildered and don’t know how to react. There's a thin line between disciplining and inappropriate punishment.
One mom knew exactly how to react. She punished her son by making him do pushups in a public bathroom. And the online community thinks she was right on the money. Whether we like it or not, we must admit it was a bold move.
This mom's unique way of teaching her son a lesson was so original that it was shared on Facebook. A woman named Molly Wooden from Fort Hood, Texas posted a picture of the mother's idea of punishment in a Hobby Lobby restroom. The post got 14,000 comments and thousands of shares.
Wooden offered her view on the punishment in this comment:
“To the woman in the Hobby Lobby bathroom. If my hands weren’t full of children, I would have applauded you. As your son gave you the back talk of the century, you stayed calm and collected while adding 10 more push-ups to his already growing number.”
The boy wasn’t thrilled with this penalty, but mom was determined.
The drill-instructor Mom and Wooden connected online, and she was okay with posting this video online.
She said:
“I have since found the Mom through the power of social media, and she promptly thanked me for posting this.
[She] says she appreciates the support and positive comments, and we’re hoping to grab coffee sometime… while supervising push-ups that is.”
This might not be a groundbreaking punishment, but it is an interesting one.
