This 'Shining' Themed Gingerbread House is Scarily Brilliant
The Shining is a property that is unstoppable in all media forms. Both the Stephen King novel and the 1980 film based on it have a massive following.
Even the brief reference in this years ‘Ready Player One’ was outstanding. With all that in mind you’d think it would be impossible to make a better adaptation but this gingerbread house is definitely a close one or maybe just a tasty one. Regardless, what Aaron Keeling and his family have made is truly brilliant.
They have apparently been making elaborate gingerbread houses for years, attempting to outdo themselves each time ever since they made a ski chalet with a working ski lift. It is truly a skill being able to create all that. Most people struggle to put the roof on their gingerbread houses.
The house looks amazing.

The detail of this house is truly brilliant.

Seriously, the extent Aaron and his family have gone to to put detail in this house is truly amazing.

The house is truly jaw dropping.

Everything from the paintings to the carpet were recreated in incredible detail.

Detail from all perspectives.

No aspect seems to have been missed.

Never before has there been a gingerbread house with such jaw dropping visuals.

Not only was no detail missed but apparently no scene was missed either.

A closer look at the maze.

A true work of art.

The floor-plan

The process

It clearly took a toll on some of them.

It's all coming together.

Making sure that detail is as incredible as we saw. It was worth the effort.
