All of us are guilty of having done something dumb before. Things that occasionally keep us awake in the night or cause us to flinch during the working day.

You may even recall a stupid thing that you did way back in high school that made everybody laugh at you. Now, how about we spend the next few hours fixating on it and envisioning how things couldn't have gone worse and how everybody is likely to still laugh at you.

Regardless, hearing other people's points of view or seeing them act worse than we did can set us free. That is the point where the r/TerminallyStupid subreddit comes in.

It is an online community with just over 120K members, and this group keeps a record of the occasions when "terminally stupid" individuals do something dumb in a way that compromises the wellbeing of another person. The r/TerminallyStupid subreddit group was founded back in 2019, and if you want to be part of their community then, you should be ready to abide by the standards the moderators set out.
