Rules are meant to be broken, says the old saying, but it would not be so great for society if this saying is always applied. Laws are there for a reason, and without them, we would not have civilization but chaos.

Laws are written rules for regulating behavior, but on the other hand, there are some “unwritten rules” of life that should be followed as well. These “unwritten rules” of life are supposed to be known to all, but on a daily basis, we can easily see that this is not the case.

Recently, one Reddit user with a unique name u/0_7_0 draw a lot of attention to this topic when they submitted a question worth mentioning on r/AskReddit: “What is one 'unwritten rule' you think everyone should know and follow?”. Reddit exploded, and this post got 4.2k upvotes and more than 3.4k comments.

People were eager to share “unwritten rules” of life that trigger them the most when they are not followed. Everyone had something to say - from one user who mentioned how it is rude when you show someone one picture on your phone, and they continue scrolling through your gallery, to the other one who acknowledged how annoying it is when someone watches loud videos in public.
