Woman Starts Answering Phone Lines After Getting Frustrated At Understaffed Walmart
Walmart is one of the most popular retail corporations in the United States, with over 240 million shoppers worldwide visiting its stores weekly. And this is for good reasons too.

It's well known for its affordable products and easy shopping, as you can get almost anything from a Walmart store. People who use Walmart also enjoy numerous benefits, like free next-day shipping on orders of $35 or more, checkout points, and a streamlined app.
Despite all these benefits and the fact that Walmart has over a million active staff, the retail corporation has had its share of understaffing. This has, in turn, increased customer dissatisfaction over time.
However, we found a Walmart customer who wasn't interested in complaining. But instead, she did something no one expected.
This mom visited a Walmart store with her daughter, Victoria. After getting frustrated by the long wait time, she decided to help decongest the traffic by attending to customers on the store's phone lines.
We think this mom deserves some appreciation for her willingness to help: no public tantrums, no harassing of innocent staff, just genuine effort.
Her actions drew a lot of attention from customers at the store. But that was nothing compared to the thousands of fans she accumulated after Villano shared the video on TikTok.

The beginning
Tiktoker Victoria Villano and her mother were at a Walmart store when they noticed the phones ringing consistently. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough staff to attend to all the customers.
Instead of just listening to the phone ring like other people at the store were doing, Victoria’s mother began to answer the store's phone calls. She informed them that she was a customer and knew how frustrating it was to keep calling without any response.

Offering help
Although she didn’t have much information to provide the frustrated customers on the other end of the call, her response was vital in managing the tension. She told them there was no staff around to attend to their calls and informed them that calling at a later time would be better.
In addition to this, she offered to help the calling customers to whatever extent she could. Amazing, if you ask us!
The reactions
While this mom was playing her role as an amazing citizen, her daughter was laughing and making a video of the incident.
Other people in the store seemed to find the situation amusing as well. However, the calling customers seemed grateful that someone had answered their calls and seemed wowed that it was a customer just like them.
Victoria's video got many positive comments after posting it on Tiktok. People were amazed that her mother had gone out of her way to help other customers.
Think about it, she was equally frustrated, and it wasn't her job to provide customer service. Who knows what would have happened if this Supermom wasn't available to save the day?
We think Walmart should reach out and give her the appreciation she deserves.
