People Like To Think That Smartphones Made Us Antisocial But That's Not Necessarily True

Smartphones are great tools that allow us to access some amazingly complex things that most of our forebears would've only dreamed of seeing. The older generation like to paint us all with the same brush and accuse our generation of being antisocial when we're really not that different from them.

They used to be just as antisocial as us but the mediums they used were simply not as sophisticated as what we have today. They would've wished they had the same devices as us, but that was impossible back in the day so they were forced to use what was available at the time, but the fact that we're both antisocial definitely didn't change.

So many accidents waiting to happen

Zero acknowledgement of their surroundings
