People Share Their Awkward Sibling Photos Online And Oh Boy Do They Bring Back Memories

by Rachel

As a child, there was nothing I despised more than having to pose for a million different photos with my sibling. Whether it was in a portrait studio or in front of some kind of landmark, having to stand around smiling for photos was low on my list of priorities.

This horror wasn’t just reserved for my family, most families have had similar experiences. Often, the photos didn’t turn out as sweet as our parents visualised. People have started sharing the awkward, yet hilarious, pictures of them and their siblings online so we can all share the pain of family portraits.

I never truly understood what it’s like to grow up with siblings until I found this gem of a photo in my wife’s family album... from r/pics

Whoever designed these costumes should be fired.

This kid just straight up grabbed a fish and his sibling's face is my face tbh.

I want that fish! Son improvises without fishing gear, yanks carp outta lake, shocks both fish and sister.

"background story: we were 3, my mother and grandmother left us with my Dad and grandpa, who were pouring concrete in the backyard. We were getting into everything, so this was their method of keeping us out of the wet concrete. According to my father there were toys in the cardboard box. My mom was not very happy when she came back, but I thank her for taking a picture of it."

“This is a photo from the final tap dance duet my brother and I did together. It is my deepest hope that he will still speak to me after this is posted. Jazz hands have never looked so profound.”

“In middle school, I was the only girl on the wrestling team. My brother was on it as well and to save money, we decided to take our picture together. I now regret that decision.”

I hope there's a video clip for this too.

These costumes are marginally better than the ones made out of curtains!

My sisters and I went through a 'Sound of Music' phase when we were younger. Yes those are our underpants.
