When I was a child I longed to be in charge of my money; being able to buy whatever I wanted whenever I wanted it was the absolute dream. But now, as an adult, I realise how naive that dream was; and how utterly inept I am when it comes to money.
My bank statement is proof that schools should teach money management and budgeting classes. Or at the very least, teach classes in responsibility and restraint so I didn't grow into an adult that feels the need to buy food every day; even though there is perfectly good food at home.
But then online shopping exists???
