Woman Detained After Getting Caught By Airport Security With Her Boyfriend's Ashes In Her Butt

When 23-year-old Australian law student, Sarah Button was arrested by airport security, you'd be forgiven for thinking perhaps she had something she shouldn't have in her bag. Or, maybe she was being detained due to a misunderstanding.

Well, it turns out the real story is a whole lot more interesting than that. You see, when Sarah was about to board her United Arab Emirates flight, she was caught hiding her deceased boyfriend's ashes... in her butt.

That's right - she was carrying her late boyfriend's remains in a "butt-plug urn." Sarah says she was carrying the urn in his "favorite place."

Sarah explained that she was given the sex toy as a joke by her boyfriend before he passed away. "The intention was initially a joke because he'd spent so much time in there and it was his favorite place," she said.

"Honestly, it is the funniest thing he's ever done," Sarah continued. "I'll spend my whole life laughing about it, which really beats crying."

But, unfortunately for Sarah, airport security didn't exactly get the joke. "I explained what it was, but there was a lady working in earshot of that conversation which led to some back and forth between us," Sarah said.

"The male officials did not like the vulgarity I was using to explain," she continued. "An hour later, a big official came and had us sign a super long foreign document and said if we went outside of the airport doors we'd go to jail."

Sarah said it "was a long day." Keep scrolling to see the video and how people reacted.

Okay, so what's your take on this unusual story? Was Sarah completely crazy to even attempt doing such a thing, or was it a grand and romantic gesture to be admired?

Well, it was definitely a gesture of some kind, that's for sure. We just can't seem to put our finger on whether it was incredibly sweet or super gross.

But hey, each to their own! And if that butt plug represents something happy and meaningful to Sarah after the sad loss of her boyfriend, then who are we to judge?

The fact that there is even such a thing as a "butt-plug urn" just goes to show that there are people out there who appreciate such things. Besides, where would we be without such outrageous stories to share?
