When we see stars, a lot of us normally think, "Oh, they must be so used to seeing all those other stars and celebs. We bet Saturday night drinks are a norm for them!" We usually can't imagine them being so outrageously happy when they meet other stars because, unlike us normal human beings, they have more chances of meeting those celebs.

They're in closer proximity plus, they stand on the same ground so it should just be the norm for them, right? What a lot of us are forgetting though is that Hollywood is a pretty big place and that a lot of our favorite celebs also started out just like us.

They also had dreams and they also had people they looked up to. They even had celebrity crushes!

And even if they're working in the same industry, they also have people whose work they greatly admire. That's why even though they're famous as well and a lot of people would hyperventilate when they meet them, celebs also have their own fangirl and fanboy moments.

Honestly, a lot of these moments are just heartwarming to watch. Here are some of those moments that celebs fangirled or fanboyed over other celebs who were their idols.

Jennifer Lawrence and Ariana Grande

J. Law was an absolute fan of Ariana Grande and she revealed that she really couldn't contain herself while working with Ari on Don't Look Up.

"I went full radio contest winner. I was so excited and nervous that at one point, I just kind of walked into her hotel room and sat down," Jennifer said during a Q&A in November 2021. "I've just been thinking about it a lot lately. There were all of these trunks for her hair and makeup, and I was like, ‘Do you live here?'"

Ariana Grande and Jim Carrey

Ari was shaking side to side after meeting the Dumb & Dumber actor. She also posted a video of her visibly crying after he introduced himself to her.

Ansel Elgort and Taylor Swift

Ansel was quite the fan of Taylor and after winning a Teen Choice Award in 2014, Ansel posted this photo to display his Swiftie-ness. "Yes that's Taylor Swift giving me the surfboard. Wtf is life..." he captioned the pic.

Reese Witherspoon and Goldie Hawn

During the Snatched star's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, Reese was tearing up and she said, "The first time I fell in love with a movie star, it was Goldie Hawn."

She also added that her fandom dated many years back saying that her first email address was "[email protected]."

Adele and Beyonce

At the 2017 Grammy Awards, Adele was up against Beyonce for the Best Album of the Year. When Adele won, she dedicated her win to Queen Bey saying, "I can't possibly accept this award. My artist of my life is Beyoncé."

Harry Styles couldn't stop crying after bringing his idol, the Fleetwood Mac legend, onstage at his L.A. show and he had to hold back his tears to perform a duet of "Landslide." "I'm pretty sure that this was going to be up there with one of the best nights of my life," he told the crowd. 

Sarah Paulson and Madonna

Sarah Paulson said that when she spotted the Material Girl on the Met Gala red carpet, her jaw literally dropped.

Emilia Clarke and Matt LeBlanc

When she appeared together with the Friends alum, the Mother of Dragons just couldn't help but go full-on Friends fanatic. She even got him to say "How you doin'" to her on the show.

Zendaya really lost all her chill when Rihanna praised her Met Gala look on Instagram. She took to Snapchat to bask in Riri's words saying, "I never thought a post could mean so much to me in all my life."

A lot of people would be crying or even choking on stage while performing with their idol but Taylor was pretty cool when she performed with Madonna. After the performance though, she let out all her feelings tweeting this photo and saying, "I might be okay but I'm NOT FINE AT ALL. #MyFangirlLife." 

Oprah Winfrey and Mick Jagger

Oprah couldn't hide her excitement when she bumped into the Rolling Stones frontman in 2013. "My first time meeting Mick Jagger! And yes he dances like MICK JAGGER?" she captioned this pick on Instagram.

When Liam met the legendary rapper, nobody could drag down the 1D heartthrob. He posted this pic on Twitter and said that he "couldn't even look him in the eye."

The fact remains. No matter how famous or how rich you get, once you meet the idol of your life who has made life a lot more bearable, you just have to give up all pretenses and you just have to let them know how much you appreciate them.

Meeting your idol doesn't always happen every day and people don't always get the best experiences so if you do meet your idol on a positive note, cherish that memory and make the most of it.
