Thinking of a name for your kid is a big thing for most parents and understandably so. That name will stick with the child forever.
It will be part of their identity, who they are, how they carry themselves, and also how others perceive them. You can't have your child running around with a name that they won't like, right, and it's not going to be you who's going to live with that name for the rest of their lives.
It's not an easy thing to just come up with a name, however. Some people take inspiration from the most cherished people in their lives, others already have a name picked out ever since they were kids, and a few even base their kids' names on characters from their favorite films or shows.
For celebs, the names of their children are often big news and a lot of people excitedly waiting for them. While some celebs have taken the normal route where they name their children beautiful and normal names, other celebs have really taken the time to come up with a name like no other in the world.
To call some of these names uncommon is an understatement because a few of the names they came up with have never been given to humans before. Here are some of the most unique celebrity kid names out there.

Elon Musk introduced his baby boy with Grimes on Twitter and also unveiled the baby's name. We're still not sure how to exactly pronounce it but we're pretty sure that child won't be dealing with having the same name as anybody.
Some Twitter users think that the Æ means "Ash" while the A-12 represents "Archangel" after the CIA aircraft of the same name.
2. Atlas Noa
Shay Mitchell gave birth to her first child with partner Matte Babel in 2019 and revealed the baby girl's name on her Instagram.
"In my 32 years of life I thought I had seen a lot of places, experienced a lot of things, met a lot of people and felt love...then came you," the Pretty Little Liars star expressed in her Instagram. "Truth is I had no idea I was capable of loving anything like this before you arrived."
3. Esmeralda Amada
In 2014, Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes introduced the world to their first baby, Esmeralda Amada. In an interview with The Violet Files, the couple revealed that their baby's name held a sentimental meaning.
"Ryan and I both love the Esmeralda character from the Victor Hugo novel, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and we just think it's a beautiful name," she said. "Amada was my grandmother's name. It means 'beloved' in Spanish."
The couple used the name Amada once again with their second daughter Amada Lee Gosling who was born in 2016.

Cameron Diaz' child with Benji Madden has a pretty cool name. Diaz took to Instagram to announce the birth of her little girl adding, "She is really really cute. Some would even say RAD."

For the inspiration behind her baby's name, Kylie shared, "When I was pregnant, I used to call her 'Stormie'—when I would talk to her in my belly. It just always felt right." The Kylie Cosmetics founder also revealed that her other option would have been Rose.
