Kids can be quite mysterious and creepy, they have no verbal filter and they basically speak from the heart. Nothing gets filtered out, they just say whatever pops into their clever little minds.

That's why many people are terrified of what their kids could say in front of company because they could easily and casually hurt someone's feelings on a really deep level because if a kid makes an observation, it's usually blunt and raw.
