Lonely Dog Lost Two Close Friends So He Randomly Brought His Owner A Kitten That Needed Some TLC
Some dogs notice more than people give them credit for. When Crosby lost two close friends in a short period, he did something that turned an ordinary day into a very sweet rescue story.
Crosby loves cats and other dogs, and his owner has seen that affection up close. This time, he brought home a kitten that clearly needed a little extra care, and the timing made the moment even more touching.
Now the little newcomer has a safe place to land, and Crosby has once again shown exactly what kind of friend he is.
"About six months ago, he lost his kitty friend, and just over a month ago, he lost his best doggo friend, who has been his companion since he was eight weeks old," said Crosby's owner.
"Crosby has been pretty okay with being an only doggo, or so I thought."
A few weeks ago, this dog did not welcome his owner cheerfully and playfully as usual. When he got home from work, his pet took him straight to the tub.
There he was greeted by a very noisy kitten that did not cease meowing.
"I've never seen this kitten before, and although I do have a doggy door, it's way too high off the ground for this baby to have snuck in. It seems to me that Crosby must have brought her inside.
"She has an uncanny resemblance to the kitty friend he lost six months ago."

It also reminds me of the man overwhelmed with joy after long days searching for his lost puppy.
None of the neighbors knew if the cat belonged to anyone. Some saw it but didn't know whose it was.
"I took the kitty to the vet to see if she was microchipped, and she isn't. However, she was spayed just a few days ago and is thought to be about four months old."
After being notified by the veterinarian that the kitten could end up on the street because the shelter was crowded, Crosby’s owner decided to give her a home. He doesn't like the thought of the kitty wandering around and trying to survive on the streets. It also seemed that Crosby liked the kitty.
Crosby was thrilled and stayed by her side the whole night.
Crosby made new friends again, and he was on cloud nine.
