Recently, a puppy's tragic destiny turned upside down, thanking good soul people. Pixie, the puppy, was curled up in the dirt, lay exhausted, tied to a pole, and unable to move freely.

She was surrounded by a few ferns that provided her minimal shade, and she had no access to food or water, which caused her to become dangerously thin. Her ribs were protruding from her frail body, making it clear how bad her situation had become.

Just when things seemed hopeless, Pixie's fate changed. "[An] animal control officer found her in a remote area — middle of nowhere," Emily Brizzee explained.

Emily Brizzee, who runs Brizzee Animal Rescue in Haslet, Texas, alongside her husband, immediately knew she had to help when she heard Pixie's story. Once Pixie was safely under their care, Brizzee was heartbroken by her condition.
