Detectives discovered a box of Polaroid photos in Dahmer's apartment depicting all of the infamous crimes he had committed. And, of course, in today's age of technology, some of those Polaroids have resurfaced online.

In a craze that some have labeled "disgusting" and "disturbing," TikTok users have started a trend called the "Jeffrey Dahmer Polaroid Challenge."

The grim challenge involves people searching Dahmer's crime scene polaroids and recording their reactions to them.

The social media platform has removed many of the graphic images, but there are still some trending under the hashtag. And while many people participated in this trend, relishing all the graphic details, many others found the challenge upsetting.

Some commented on their concerns saying that desensitivity to such gruesome images is nothing to brag about. Not to mention that the men in the photographs were innocent victims who were loved by their families and friends.

The images are confronting to say the least. Keep scrolling to learn more about Jeffrey Dahmer and see how people reacted to the Polaroid challenge.
