This Pop Culture Fan Art Is So Good That It's Almost Unbelievable

27-Years old, French artist and illustrator Camille Fourcade is a force to reckon with. Her illustrative style has morphed and transformed many times over the years that she has been creating and sharing work with the world.

Camille has a ton of experience in the art industry, including directing an animated film, Valse à Quatre Mains (Waltz Duet)! Not only that, but she's created her own webtoon called "Tales of Love and Consequences."

If you're unfamiliar with webtoons, they are "a type of digital comic that originated in South Korea usually meant to be read on smartphones." The word "webtoon" is a relatively new term, but considering they were designed for smartphones and smartphones themselves are a relatively new concept, that makes sense.

Medium explains more about the history of webtoons:

"It started with Chollian, a now-defunct Internet service engine, that established Chollian Webtoon to provide webtoons to readers in August of 2000. What made it different from other online comics was its introduction of the vertical-layout. Most online comics at the time followed the traditional horizontal layout designed for PCs (landscape style)."

With that perspective and seeing the art that Camille creates and shares on social media, we know she's creating something really fantastic.

"Weeeeeell, I don't really like this TV show, and I watch only the first episode. But currently, I like drawing bad*ss characters or warrior, so I decide that I could test to make my own interpretation of Ygritte, even if I don't really know the complexity of this character, I chose to focus on her style (and I obviously know she says "You know nothing, John Snow.")

"The Sleeping Beauty" is one of my favorite Disney's cartoon, because I find it just beautiful. I love the Aurora's design, and all the backgrounds are gorgeous (especially into the woods!) I enjoy drawing her in this atmosphere!

Camille does a lot more than fan art and we couldn't recommend enough that you check out her webtoon, but we had to highlight some of her additional Disney pieces that look significantly different from what we've shown you so far!

Jim Hawkins (Treasure Planet)

"One of my commission this month! I'm happy to have drawn him, because I don't draw men very often, so it was a great exercise."

Queen Elsa (Frozen)

"Elsa, the beautiful and tormented one. With her beautiful queen outfit. Seriously, I think she's got my favorite dress of all, I was so disappointed when she created her new pinup dress during the "Let it go" song."

Megara (Hercules)

"I didn't expected to draw her now, but I saw my 7 year old cousin during Christmas, and I asked her who was her favorite Princess, and she answered Megara! What a great surprise!
I don't know if she could be call as a princess, but to me, she is too much under-rated! I really love her story and her personality! She is unique, smart and melancholic."

Cinderella

Tiana (The Princess and the Frog)

"This is one of my favorite Disney princesses, especially because I love her motivation and determination for making her dreams come true, and how she isn't afraid to work hard to have her own restaurant."
