48 hours before her next shift, she messaged the manager at her gas station job informing her that she would not be able to come in for work until her son was safely off life support. The manager's dry and dismissive replies resulted in a large amount of internet users expressing their frustration in various responses.

There's no "drama" here, just a mother asking to have time to make sure her son is alright.

Some people need to make more of an effort to be empathetic.
Wow. It's totally not like people can refill their own gas, right?
