Despite winning more than 71 million votes (the second-highest total in American history) and securing more than 47% of votes nationally, Donald Trump still lost the 2020 US presidential election. As we all know by now, he was defeated by Joe Biden.

This makes Donald Trump one of only four previous presidents to not receive another four years in the White House. He is also the first US president to lose the popular vote in consecutive elections.

But Trump has refused to accept defeat and has accused the media of conspiring with Biden to steal the election. However, the American voters are not having the same issues coming to terms with the election results (with the exception of Trump's cult-like followers).
