Three Completely Different Disney Fans Create Fan Art In Their Own Unique Styles
From different places in the world, with different tools of the trade, and different inspirations, the three artists we're highlighting today all bring something unique and interesting to the Disney fan art universe.

For as long as Disney has existed, Disney has been inspiring people. Of course, depending on who you are and what you are capable of, being inspired by Disney can look like many different things.
For some people, they may be inspired to create music, aim for Broadway, or simply hone their karaoke skills. For others, they may be inspired to create art and tell stories, maybe even work for Disney or Pixar someday!
While there is no end to the possibilities when one is inspired by Disney, it goes almost without saying that when someone has an artistic skill or talent and they are also Disney fans... incredible fan art makes its way into the universe! Disney fan art is a beloved tradition for both artist and viewer, to create and to enjoy.
Sometimes we really enjoy an opportunity to show you just how differently people who all have talent and skill can create something unique based on or inspired by Disney stories and characters. By featuring three completely different illustrators from all over the world in one blog piece, we are able to show you just how diverse inspiration and creation can truly be.
We hope you enjoy this interesting collection of Disney fan artists today!
First up is Norway-based illustrator "Elf-in-mirror." For over a decade, they have been using paper, pencils, and photoshop to create colorful pieces of artwork inspired by fantasy and creativity.
Included in their diverse gallery of interests is some truly breathtaking fan art from Disney films including Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid. Support the artist: DeviantArt

2. Pocahontas

3. Belle - Beauty and the Beast

4. Belle - Beauty and the Beast

7. Belle - Beauty and the Beast

8. Ariel - The Little Mermaid

Up next is Chiropractor and Illustrator DrMistyTang. While her gallery is vast and full of colorful pieces anyone could and would love, we wanted to highlight some of the incredible pieces she's made that feature characters that aren't seen in fan art often enough (or versions of characters that don't get re-imagined nearly enough, like Mulan in her soldier outfit!)
DrMistyTang says: "My general rule of thumb for when I do fanart these days is to take my time and make sure I do a good job if it's of something I really love. Reason being: I don't do much fanart these days! This may very well be the first and last time I draw it."
The colors, details, and passion are all filtered through her fun personality to create some stunning pieces of art we are sure you'll love. Support the Artist: DeviantArt
1. Grand Master from Thor: Ragnarok

2. Milo Thatch (Atlantis)

3. Ratigan (The Great Mouse Detective)

4. Chief Tui (Moana)
"Chief Tui is a cool guy. Good chief, good father. Gets to sing a song, and best of all--we get a glimpse into his past! Most Disney Dads have good reason to be strict and protective, but it's so great that we actually got to see a big reason as to why Chief Tui did what he did. And bonus, it was totally reasonable of him to want to stay in one place and keep his family and people safe that way. "

5. Maurice (Beauty and the Beast)

6. Cornelius Robinson (Meet the Robinsons)

7. Gepetto (Pinocchio)

8. Anastasia and The Baker (Cinderella II)

9. Elinor and Fergus (Brave)

10. King Kashekim Nedakh (Atlantis)
"Atlantis: the Lost Empire is such a gem. Its theme of history and the destruction of culture is so interesting and beautifully done. Its style, characters, and story are so unique. I just love every facet of this movie, it's wonderful."

11. Felix Jr. and Sergeant Calhoun (Wreck It Ralph)

12. Ursula (The Little Mermaid)

Last up, Elera and her Micky Mouse-themed illustrations. This artist is based out of the United States and she is most definitely a huge Disney fan.
Her gallery features a wide variety of fan art, but it's not every day you see so many pieces dedicated to Disney icons Mickey and Minnie Mouse! Support the Artist: DeviantArt
1. "Summer Festival"

2. "Tell Me Princess"

3. "Kissing A Princess"

4. "The Storm"

5. "Happy Birthday!"

6. "It Even Has His Eyes"

7. "Island Breeze"

8. "A Humble Offering"

9. "Nearing Midnight"

10. "Kagayaku Star!"

Elera doesn't only do Mickey Mouse fan art, she creates a lot of other Disney, anime, and movie fan art that is all really lovely.

Which artist was your favorite today? Sometimes, we just get so excited about all the awesome Disney fan art that is out there, we can't help but show off and highlight a few different artists at once.
When doing so, it's always ideal on our end to show distinctly different art styles, it helps keep things interesting as you view. We'd love to hear your thoughts about Disney fan art and the artists featured here today.
