I feel like about once every 2-3 years there's a story on the news about someone who has gone and bought a couch, a recliner or a storage cabinet in a thrift shop, taken it home, cleaned it and found like, $50,000 hidden in it. Yeah, that's never happened to me.

I find tons and tons of crap about 99% of the time. In my opinion, thrift shops are just kinda grubby and creepy - call me spoiled, but I just can't handle the muskiness.
