Moments When People Forgot How To Speak English Properly, Even Though They're Supposed To Be Proficient

by Shasta

Got the 'mom brain dumb' raise your hand! "Sloooooowly raises own hand."

I cannot even begin to describe how often this has happened to me since 1. Becoming a mom but even more so 2. Since becoming a third time mom. Good riddance it's so bad sometimes I swear I could legitimately forget my own name!

Words fail me, or better yet I fail them. Either or, these 13 people have been in the same sort of boat.

I think the take away here is to not put people on the spot and if you do, expect a ridiculous answer. And also well, our brains are tired. All. The. Tired.
