Pet Owner Kicks Pregnant And Jobless Sister After She Stole Her Dog And Left It Tied In Dangerous Part Of City

A 32-year-old did the decent thing when her younger sister suddenly found herself without a home. They didn't have a close relationship, but OP was the only relative still residing in their country willing to help.

Her sister found out she was pregnant about two months after she moved in with OP. That was when their troubles started.

OP has a two-year-old husky whom her sister complained about. Her sister said she was unwilling to raise her baby around a wild animal.

OP made it clear that her dog was staying put. She told her sister to leave her home if she opposed having a dog around her child.

Her sister pestered OP with complaints, but the homeowner was unmoved. OP's sister took matters into her own hands when OP had to travel to a remote location for work.

Her dog was nowhere to be found when OP got home. Her pregnant sister claimed innocence as to the dog's location.

OP didn't fall for her sister's clueless act, which resulted in an argument. Gaining nothing from the argument, OP went to her nearby neighbors to ask if they saw her husky.

One of the neighbors said the last time they saw the dog was when OP's sister took him somewhere a few days prior to OP's return. The panicked pet owner checked her Uber account.

She saw a transaction from a trip to the other side of their city. OP drove to the location and saw her dog with a random street food vendor.

The vendor said he took OP's dog in after a "blonde, pregnant woman" left him leashed to a fence

OP told her story, paid the vendor $500, and took her dog home

OP kicked her sister out of the house the moment she got home. She gave her enough money to stay at a hotel for a week

OP's sister told her sob story to their family and friends. OP is now the villain for choosing her dog over her sister. Was OP wrong to kick her sister out of the house for what she did?

Stealing OP's dog and leaving it to the elements is what got her sister kicked out. 100% not OP's fault.

Also, that dog is OP's family. He lived with OP far longer than her sister has. It's not the sister's home. She doesn't get a vote who gets to stay there. She's a visitor and a thieving one at that.

Despite what she did, she should be thanking OP for having compassion. Other people wouldn't bother giving her money to stay at a hotel after the stunt she pulled.

She will be a splendidly terrible mother. Poor kid. The cards are already stacked against them.

The first one to call OP an a**hole should be the first person offering her sister a roof over her head.

It's time to change all the locks in your home, OP.

OP posted an update where she stated that she fully didn't think her sister would be capable of doing something so heartless

Given what her sister did, OP's "overreaction" is understandable. It's pretty appropriate.

OP is a good person. She will have a better life now that she is planning to cut off everyone who called her an a**hole for kicking her sister out.

Her history proves that sister is untrustworthy.

I really don't think she was planning on moving out of OP's house that soon. Too bad she can't keep her true colors hidden long enough.

Picture yourself in a desperate situation. Someone comes to your rescue and helps you without expecting anything in return.

To show your gratefulness, you steal their dog and endanger its life. Somehow you're convinced the person who opened their home to you is still an a**hole for not tolerating your crap — laid out like that, OP's sister sounds even more ridiculous.
